About the reader.I haven't always liked to read, but I have taught myself to like it again. The first time I remember that I enjoyed reading was in 4th grade when I read the Percy Jackson series, by Rick Riordan. When I read those books I never wanted them to end. I wanted to read forever and ever. After school I would go directly to my room, get in my bed and read until in was time for dinner. Still to this day whenever I need to read for school or am reading a book I enjoy I always go to my room and get in my bed to do my reading. After 7th or 8th grade when my homework started to increase I didn't have time to read every day and would only read if I had to complete an assignment for school. But a good thing happened about halfway though this year and I have started to read again every night. Although, I'm not reading half as much as before I'm still reading again! My favorite things to read are autobiographies, but more specifically autobiographies related to sports. Right now I'm reading an autobiography by Phil Knight, the creator of Nike, and I love the book. I'm attracted to the sports autobiographies because I love sports and they are a huge part of my life. I play sports, I watch sports and I like to read about people that are involved in sports. The books that I like reading the least are novels.

Readers Journal
My experience reading this book was that it was on of my favorite books I have read. I love this book and if I had to recommend any book to a soccer player I would recommend I am Zlatan. I first learned about this book when I was watching a video of a soccer player who was ironing and reading I am Zlatan at the same time. I Immediately looked up the book, and because they didn't have it at the library I ordered it from Amazon. When the book arrived I put it on my bookshelf and was going to read after I finished another book, but I forgot about it and never did it. Fast forward 3 years to this year when I needed an SSR book and looked on my bookshelf and found I am Zlatan. Finally I found the perfect time to read this book. The book starts in the middle of Zlatan's career at FC Barcelona, then goes back to the beginning of his life. I was immediately hooked on this book because he starts the book off by talking about soccer. I learned many small things about soccer, but also big concepts about soccer. The first thing I learned is no matter how nice, how good, how much you are loved, there will still be people who will hate you, or try to hurt you by not having your best interests in mind. For example, when Zlatan was playing at the club that he played for for his whole youth career, he was sold to Ajax, a team he was excited to join. Zlatan wanted to go to Ajax, so him long time club advised him not to get an agent because an agent would try to undermine him and just take your profit, but in reality that is what his long time club did to him. They sold him for 9 million euros, but later Zlatan found out he was getting paid the least amount of anyone on the team. How the transfers work is if you get sold for more, you make less money at your new club, so his youth club tricked him out of tons of money, and they did exactly what they said an agent would do. Even after all the success he had brought to his long time club, they didn't feel loyal to him, and completely ruined his bank account. Another thing I learned is that nothing good ever comes easy. In the book Zlatan always has to work extremely hard to achieve anything. He grew up in the ghetto of Rosengård in Malmö Sweden, and had to work extremely hard to pull himself out of the ghetto. At every club during his career he worked amazingly hard to make it to the next, better, club. At one club he realized he wasn't working hard for he realized he had differences with the coach and team owners, so he left and went to a team that wasn't as good, but he loved and was able to find the motivation to work hard again. The final thing I learned from reading the book was that you should never stop. Zlatan never stopped working, and got himself out of the ghetto, got out of Sweden, got to the big clubs, and ended up having tons of success. He was only able to accomplish so much by never giving up.
